When it comes to Sebum quality and production, Naturals are in a realm of our own. The current one-sided ‘beauty’ standards have tough us to constantly wash away our sebum with harsh detergents, implying that our natural oils/sebum is a bad thing. Well … more so for textured hair, sebum is a gift. Our hair and skin crave and needs it. Instead of consistently washing it way and leaving our hair strands exposed and brittle … full and even coverage should be the goal. In this video, I’ll show you how to test your sebum production level and give you tips on how to regulate your sebum production.
