Log Books | 34-hour reset in the United States
In the United States, you can reset your log book work cycle to “0” by taking 34-hours off-duty. Watch the video!
The 34-hours off-duty work for either the 60 hours in the 7 days, or 70 hours in 8 days cycle. However, it is unlikely that commercial drivers will require a reset owing to the fact that both work cycles are a “rolling cycle.”
Most drivers will reset their work cycle when going home on the weekends for extended off-duty time.
