Man shot, killed by police after traffic stop in Brooklyn

An investigation is underway in Brooklyn after a man was shot and killed by police.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon after 4 p.m. on the eastbound Belt Parkway near the Bay 8th Street exit.

Police say the shooting unfolded after an officer tried to stop the suspect for speeding.
