How To Do Medicine Ball rainbow Jumping Lunge | Exercise Demo

This exercise demo shows how to perform the Medicine Ball Jumping Lunge with correct form

Also known as the Rainbow Split Squat Jump, this dynamic exercise will give you a full body workout, strengthening both the legs, core and arms.

To perform this exercise, take a large step forward and hold a medicine ball in both hands to the outside of your hip. sink into a deep lunge with your knee coming in close contact to the floor and explode up into a jump. Simultaneously bring the medicine ball up and around in a large arching motion over your head, bringing the med ball down the opposing side of your body and landing to the outside of your hip. As you come down from jump switch your feet positioning, landing in a deep squat with the opposing front and back leg. repeat the movement alternating feet positioning from right to left and swinging the med ball around in the 'rainbow' arching motion from right to left also.
