Recent News - Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham 3’ to release for Diwali 2024

Singham3 is an upcoming crime action thriller film, starring Ajay devgun and directed by Rohit Shetty. It will be the third installment of the Singham franchise which first came in 2011 followed by its sequel in 2014. There has been many remakes of the film in different languages and also has been inspiration for many crime action film.

Rohit Shetty's police universe is one of the most loved franchises in Bollywood. The cop verse that kickstarted with Singham in 2011 marked the beginning of a deadly combo of that of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn. They then went on to work on more films such as Bol Bachchan, Golmaal, and Golmaal Returns. Ever since the release of the second installment Singham Returns in 2014, fans have been waiting with bated breath to know about the announcement of the third installment, and seem like their wish is about to come true.
Ajay Devgn is one of the most talented and promising actors in Bollywood. He started his career with the 1991 film Phool Aur Kaante and since then, there is no looking back for him. He is known for his action-packed films. And, one such movie which tops the fans’ favourite list is the franchise of Singham. For those unaware, in 2011, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty collaborated on the cop entertainer, Singham, followed by its sequel in the year 2014.

During an interview with Film Companion, Ajay Devgn talked about the much-awaited Singham 3 and said, “I think it should happen by the end of the year. So, we will start shooting. Currently, it is on the scripting level…Rohit (Shetty) comes and tells me the basic idea about what we are going to work on and that’s it and then when he finishes, he comes over and then certainly we chat over it.”
