Dive 393: Dusk Dive at McAbee Beach

Made a dusk dive at McAbee Beach as a guest of the Monterey Bay Sea Otters Dive Club. Conditions were spectacular---flat calm, 20 to 40 foot visibility, and warm surface waters. We headed more-or-less north for about half an hour then returned the way we came, checking out the fish, crabs, invertebrates and a shy harbor seal. I had a fun swim-along with a lingcod before we sent up our surface markers and returned to shore.

I'm playing a Frank Reed tune on my banjo, listed as [95] Breakdown in volume 2 of Christeson's Old-Time Fiddler's Repertory.
