Blinking Joule Thief: 4 Year Update

I build this blinking joule thief circuit over 4 years ago and it has been blinking away ever since. When I built this device the battery voltage started out at 1.600 Volts and now, 4 years later, it has dropped to 1.381 V. I will continue to do updates on this project as time goes on.
