Narcissistic Personality Disorder (BPD) is a condition marked by entitlement, superiority, need for admiration, and a tendency to exploit other people.

Everyone's talking about "how to spot a narcissist" online, I wanted to show how psychologists like me actually identify traits of NPD.

This video shows how we would assess for the trait "constant need for admiration." You'll see me asking questions from the SCID-PD, an established diagnostic interview we used at Duke and the Personality Disorders Institute at Weill Cornell.

Yep, I know that no one likes to be criticized- but a sign of NPD is when anything other than putting them on a pedestal is seen as "criticism."
