The Black Experience | Eddie Owusu | TEDxWinchester

In light of the racial tensions and powerful demonstrations of 2020, this talk shares the black experience of one man, brought up in inner city London, now living in rural Hampshire UK, and how just one other person, his basketball coach, had a positive influence on his future. Eddie Owusu is Head of Year 11 and a Maths teacher at a local secondary school in Winchester. He is passionate about young people achieving their potential. Eddie is a former Team GB basketball player and was the Head Coach at Winchester Royals and now coaches in the South Premier League with Solent Kestrels.
