LASAGNA & SORRENTINOS for Lunch 🍝 + Trip to the LAKESIDE VILLAGE of Tolhuin (1.5 hrs from USHUAIA!)

In today's video, we are travelling to the lakeside village of Tolhuin in Argentina's Tierra del Fuego Province. Tolhuin is a destination that can be visited on a day trip or an overnight trip. We decided to spend 3 days in a lakeside guesthouse (Hosteria Kaiken) as a way to relax and unwind after 3 months of non-stop travel.

It turns out this guesthouse also has one of the top-rated restaurants in the area, so we treated ourselves to a nice lunch! They had a delicious selection of pasta; we tried their Mediterranean-style sorrentinos with sun-dried tomatoes in a cheese sauce and their tomato and spinach lasagna. Both dishes were delightful! We paired our meal with an argentine wine and then shared an apple crumble for dessert.

Then later in the afternoon we enjoyed a lakeside stroll and made our way over to the town where we befriended some local dogs and visited the famous bakery in town.

It was a pretty relaxed day seeing as we had an early start catching the bus from Ushuaia to Tolhuin, but we hope you enjoy this little vlog.
