Aesthetic Painting TikTok Compilation | Relaxing & Satisfying Art

Lately, I’ve been incredibly busy with life and haven’t had much time for self-care or relaxation. I’ve been on a two-week TikTok hiatus which some of you know is a feat for me! When I finally found some time for myself, I had the urge to delve into TikTok’s creative sphere of artistic painting. The painting world is a foreign field for me, but one that I’ve always found interesting and appealing. I’ve always admired art creatives, including painters of all sorts, and I’m always so awe-struck and soothed by the creations many artists seem to easily conjure up from the tips of their paint brushes. As a child, I used to watch Bob Ross on TV, and I remember feeling a sense of peace watching Bob’s artistic process unravel before me. Pre-COVID, I used to enjoy traveling to art museums and deciphering the meaning and feeling of each art piece, both in how the artist may have intended it and how I translated it for myself. I agree that art is subjective, but I also believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think every art is beautiful. I love art’s ability to make us feel and think and wonder. I question every painting’s details: its history, how the artist felt, how I interpret it, and what it means to others. Although everything around me seems to be rushing by, art has the power to ease me and slow me down.

I created this TikTok compilation for those who need a little bit of ease and slowing down. There are so many wonderful artists and creatives on TikTok, but I selected the art and videos that resonated with me and my mood at the time. I hope this TikTok compilation will help relax and satisfy you, and remember to take a minute to breathe in the art and beauty around you.
