How to sit up and move around on and off the bed with a high level spinal cord injury. This video is aimed at high level paraplegics and low level quadriplegics who have no use of core muscles but do have arm strength. Sitting up and moving around without any stomach muscles can be challenging and is one of the first skills you need to learn after a spinal cord injury. In this video we demonstrate how you can sit yourself up and move around in the bed (or on the floor or any other flat surface) if you have a high level spinal cord injury with limited or no use of core muscles. This is something that you often learn early on in rehab, but through trial and error over the last year, Craig has learnt a few techniques of his own that might make it a bit easier for you.
