Today we mark 40 years for the passing of one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Bob Marley. He introduced the world to Reggae music which was in many ways the voice of change. Through his eyes we saw the beauty in others. Through his voice, we've experienced an awakening of freedom and love.
I chose to cover Redemption song, because it's up to us to free ourselves from our comfort zones. Even though I don't play it in Reggae style, I still feel I belong in this song when I do. Just like Marley said: "One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain".
