Inside the million-dollar Polymarket bet on Taylor Swift album sales

More and more people are placing big bets on everything from the number of times Jerome Powell will say the word "inflation" to whether Donald Trump or the pope will get more Google searches in 2025.

Professional gambler, who goes by the pseudonym, Domer, joins Stacey Vanek Smith and Max Chafkin on the Everybody's Business podcast to discuss his latest big bet. Listen to the full episode to hear whether it paid off.

This week we hear from Domer - a longtime prediction markets junky who has placed more than $400 million worth of bets using Polymarket. At any point he might have 1,000 or more bets on prediction market sites, ranging from wagers of a few thousand dollars to as much as $1 million, roughly the sum he put on Taylor Swift’s new album sales.

Plus, Bloomberg Businessweek columnist Amanda Mull explains the premium credit card wars (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2025-10-14/chase-sapphire-reserve-amex-platinum-fight-to-be-the-best-credit-card), and we discuss OpenAI's forthcoming foray into pornography (https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2025-10-16/openai-pivot-to-porn-is-problematic-but-lucrative-for-chatgpt).

A smart and fun chat show about all things business.
