Daler Rowney System 3 Acrylics!
Daler-Downey has made a wonderful set of paints with these System 3 medium-body Acrylics. The consistency is well balanced, making it easy to work with straight from the tube in transparent layers or thick impasto. I’m also impressed by the pigment load of these paints. I love the way they mix, their quick drying time, and the fact that they promise to be lightfast and permanent.
For a complete set, add these Princeton Velevetouch synthetic brushes, and Strathmore mixed media pads. This would make a great set for the studio, classrooms as well outdoors.
I prefer to work with a limited set of paints, but the full series of these System3 paints are available in 53 colors. The metallics and fluorescents sound interesting to play with!
