HOKA Kick of the Week: South Carolina Surge

What a comeback!

Senior Summit Wood of Chapin High School in South Carolina won his home meet, the 2024 Lake Murray Invitational, over Jacob Powell of Blythewood High School (SC). Wood was in about 20th place halfway through the race and dug deep to take the lead and hold off Powell in the homestretch, winning by a stride with a time of 15:54.77 to 15:54.83.
