The “99%” Myth.

Window film manufacturers often claim an IRR (Infrared Radiation Rejection) of 99% but have a very low TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejection). This is because they often use much lower infrared wavelengths such as 1000nm or below, to achieve maximum IRR readings to promote their product!
