Make Float switch and stop water Overflow. #diyprojects #experiment #diy

In this video, I show how I made a water tank overflow sensor using a reed switch and a magnet float.

First, I inserted the reed switch into a waste pen shell and sealed it with hot glue to protect it from water. Then, I made a plastic float with a hole in the center and fixed a neodymium magnet at the end of the float.

I connected a buzzer and LED panel to a 3.7V battery using an ordinary switch in series. The reed switch is also connected in series with the circuit.
When the water level rises and the tank becomes full, the plastic float moves upward. The magnet comes close to the reed switch, which turns ON the circuit. As a result, the buzzer sounds and the LED lights up, indicating that the water tank is full.
I also added a second switch in series to manually turn OFF the buzzer and LED after the alert, which breaks the circuit and stops the alarm.
This is a simple, low-cost, and effective DIY water level overflow alarm that anyone can make at home.
