Finding an Ancient Assyrian Aqueduct in Iraq

During my last trip to Iraq, Trish and I had the incredible experience of finding a 2600 year old waterway built by the Assyrian empire to carry water from the mountains down to the plains and all the way to Nineveh over 25 miles away. Hundreds of thousands of hand-chiseled stones were used to build this massive aqueduct, with cuneiform writing still clearly visible.
