The Ruins was a Named Location in Fortnite: Battle Royale that had replaced The Authority in Fortnitemares 2020 at the coordinates D4, D5, E4, E5. It is a more dismantled version of the Authority and Shadow Midas, along with the Ghostly Ghost Henchmen, will spawn there.

At the end of Fortnitemares 2020, Shadow Midas and the Ghostly Ghost Henchmen are gone but, the POI is still called The Ruins and we can sometimes hear the ghostly voice of Midas.

The Ruins is destroyed in the Devourer of Worlds live event when Galactus extracts The Zero Point from deep underground the building.

With the launch of Chapter 2: Season 5, The Ruins, and part of the land around it was turned into sand, and The Zero Point Landmark took its place.
