Food Insecurity in Syria | STROMBO x WFP

Globally, #Syria has the sixth-highest number of food-insecure people.

Over the last 11 years, people there have endured severe losses — scores of them have been displaced several times, many have lost family members, their homes and their livelihoods. Years of conflict and the resulting economic crises have exhausted many Syrian’s savings and assets.

Kenn Crossley is Canadian and works as the #WFP Representative and Country Director for Syria. I sat down with him to talk about the situation there from his perspective.
