In this video we will study about the ocean floor and the different physical landform which exist on the ocean floor. Ocean floor is composed of various kinds of landforms like Abyssal plains, trenches, mountains, guyouts and many more. The most shallow and most rich in minerals in the continental shelf which stretches to about 100 fathoms or 180 m deep below sea level.
From there the continental slope begins which is a steep slope and goes down as low as 5000m.
