This is the 1st in a 4 series of tutorials to demonstrate how to quickly resize, apply color management and tone a photo for newsprint. All of these 4 should be used and no skips should be stepped. This is not the only way to go about toning or applying color management for newsprint reproduction, but this is one that has served me well based on my experiences and knowledge of newspaper production processes and digital graphics.
