Eid Traffic Violations Draw 2,453 Challans, 31 FIRs in Islamabad

Islamabad Traffic Police remained actively deployed across the capital on the third day of Eid-ul-Adha to facilitate citizens and ensure smooth traffic flow. During the first two days of Eid, ITP issued 2,453 challans for traffic violations, impounded 836 motorcycles and 94 vehicles for serious offences, and registered 31 cases involving life-threatening traffic violations. Special traffic squads continued monitoring major roads and recreational spots, while more than 15,000 citizens were educated about road safety and traffic regulations. Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfraz Virk urged motorists to follow traffic laws and cooperate with police to ensure a safe and enjoyable Eid for everyone.
