Poland burning meteor shower caught on dashcam

A bright fireball believed to be a burning meteor was spotted in the night sky above Poland on Saturday (October 31).

A dashcam video shows a huge green light shooting across the sky above Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki in eastern Poland, burning bright and then disappearing out of sight at 1905 local time (1805GMT)

According to Polish Fireball Network the bolide, a term used by astronomers to refer to meteors that explode in the atmosphere, was spotted by many people across the country.

The American Meteor Society and the International Meteor Association received over 60 reports about fireballs over eastern Poland in the same day.
