HIDDEN GEM Options Trading Strategy - Poor Man's Covered Call explained for Beginners

The POOR MAN'S COVERED CALL is a hidden gem among options trading strategies. Not a lot of people know about it, but it can, and it likely will make you significant profits. In today's episode on how options trading works, I'll explain the PMCC strategy by going over the basics, showing you a real example, and letting you know what stocks I think would work best with the Poor Man's Covered Call. Your profit is the difference in strikes * 100, minus debit for long call and plus original credit received for short call.
❌ Correction: At 5:55 I said you would lose $257 if the AAPL short call expired in the money. What ACTUALLY happens when a short call expires ITM for a Poor Man's Covered Call is you will need to sell 100 shares at your strike price. Your broker will exercise your long call to buy your 100 shares on your behalf and then sell them via your short call option.
