Skywalk Arak - SIV

I'm a paragliding beginner stepping up from my beloved U-Turn Emotion 2 (EN-A) to the Skywalk Arak (mid EN-B). I made most of the maneuvres and I feel no big difference between the gliders comportement. The Arak is slightly more agile. But you'll finde a huge difference in glide ratio and trim speed. It's a really good wing for me.

I did many frontal collapses too - but they're not on video - they're as easy as the asymetrical. The start is much easyer since the wing is lighter than my old one. It tends to overshoot in strong wind but it's easy to catch it. In thermals or turbulent air the wing tells you what happens next before it happens. A very good feeling that I was missing in my EN-A glider. It was so solid I got surprised by collapses. Here the wing tells you way ahead and you have time enough to react. A competely new feeling.
So I'm very very happy with the wing. I posted this video to help desciscion making when buying a new wing. I was looking desperately for more videos on new wings. It's not ment as a show off of my skills. Since I know I'm still stepping up and there's a looooot to learn yet.
