This video demonstrates replacing the EVAP System Component for a 3.5 Liter application.
Level of difficulty: ADVANCED
Approximate installation time: 1.0 HOUR
Tools needed: 10 mm socket, 3/8" ratchet, Phillips screw driver
Additional parts: Canister vent solenoid, two-way valve, bypass valve, fuel vapor canister, pressure sensor
The 2 way valve, bypass solenoid, canister vent solenoid, and EVAP pressure sensor are all mounted on the canister assembly. In some areas, if one part is going to be serviced, all the components should be replaced.
