Net-Zero Water System at Hampshire College | Connecting Point | March 2, 2020

The RW Kern Center at Hampshire College uses a net-zero water system to reduce waste and be greener. The net-zero system is built into the structure of the building and transforms rainwater runoff into potable water. But, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health has said the water no longer meets its specification. Carrie Saldo sat down with Hampshire College student Oliver Silberstein, Sara Draper, Kern Center Director of Outreach, and Jonathan Wright of Wright Builders, who worked on the project , to find out more.
