Hornby OO Gauge J50 BR Black w/Soundtraxx ECO-200 DCC Sound

A small test of my new British Railways J50 class I recently purchased at a show. It was a test to see if I could install a Soundtraxx Eco-200 UK Steam decoder into this. The install itself was pretty challenging. Had to remove most of the factory harness and other junk to make it fit. Wasn’t much room so I had to cut and file down the backhead and cab. I managed to make it all fit. And it sounds wonderful.
Much nicer of an install than my pannier tank, but that should be getting a new speaker and assembly soon too, might help it out some.
This was not a hard install, but space management was a key here.
Someday I may get in depth on how it was done, and show how I have done some of my installs.
