Srinagar, Dec 01 (ANI): To mark the completion of 57 years of dedicated service, Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated 57th Raising Day in Srinagar on December 01. BSF was formed on December 1, 1965 as a unified central agency to ensure the security of the borders of India. BSF Raising Day was celebrated with great zest and zeal at Frontier Headquarters. A cultural program and “Bara Khana” was organised for BSF personnel. Presently, BSF is the largest border guarding force of the world. (JA)
