Lidia Thorpe doesn't think the rules 'apply to her'

Sky News host Paul Murray says Lidia Thorpe just doesn't think the rules apply to her, after the Greens senator complained that she was "racially profiled" at Canberra Airport.

Ms Thorpe told ABC radio she was informed by Virgin Australia staff her hand luggage was over the weight limit and she had to leave something behind, with security eventually being called to deal with the matter.

Mr Murray questioned, "how is this racist?"

"There are rules, they're available on the website, and I presume you've flown on a plane before so you know there are rules, you just don't think they apply to you."
