About "Por Una Cabeza - Piano Solo"

The original song was written by Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera in 1935.

I first heard Por Una Cabeza in the movie 'Scent of a Woman' in the scene where Al Pacino danced tango with Gabrielle Anwar.

I was captivated by the scene and fell in love with the song and began working on my own rendition of it on the piano.

It is a combination of Carlos Gardel and Itzhak Perlman's version blended with my own improvisations.

The first part of the song is something I wrote as an improvisation to build up to the actual song.

The second half of the song then moves into my rendition of Por Una Cabeza as a piano solo.

It is dedicated to my mother for her never ending love and support.

And mostly Jesus Christ for seeing me through the hardest moments of my life.

Don't give up because, There is hope in...Jesus.
