Rome and Florence: Arts and Culture

Summer '18 study abroad is open to all Miami majors. The workshop focuses on the history, art, music and culture that developed from Ancient Rome and to the present day including Florence. Students will spend 10 days in Rome and 11 days in Florence encompassing on-site studies of the Roman forum, the Colosseum, Middle Ages culture including the Baroque architecture of the Vatican, and Vatican museums with the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo as a focus.
