NYC Apartment Tour *jr 1 bedroom* $1625/month + Rental Renovations

I watch so many apartment tours on YouTube and I'm so excited to share my own! Here's my lovingly curated and DIY-ed junior one bedroom in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City. I've lived in New York City and uptown Manhattan for 8 years now. I've included some tips on how to save money in New York City, and how New York City apartment searches and moves tend to go - in my experience.

I'm a video director/shooter/editor and I worked from home even before the pandemic, so I put a lot of thought into storage for my camera gear and how to layout and decorate my space so I could easily shoot videos in my apartment. I love a good DIY project, so I did some rental renovations to spruce up the old, a.k.a. "pre-war" space and make it work for me. I'm always looking for street treasure, so I say so many times in this video "I found this in the trash!" I'm a trash queen, what can I say. Another amazing factor of this apartment - it's rent stabilized! So the apartment won't ever go up in price by much. I love my apartment, I love uptown Manhattan, I love Harlem - so I hope you love this video! I was inspired by a lot of other YouTubers like Alexandra Gater and Ashley from BestDressed, as well as Pinterest and Apartment Therapy.
