PLC Automated Sorting Station

This system is powered by a Siemens PLC, integrated with a Cmore HMI for intuitive control and monitoring. As materials make their way along the conveyor, a photoelectric sensor diligently detects their presence, subsequently activating the dispenser cylinder to precisely manage the flow of items onto the conveyor. Metals are identified by an inductive sensor, which then instructs the first pneumatic cylinder to sort the objects into a designated bin for metals. In parallel; a capacitive sensor is employed to detect liquid-containing materials, triggering another pneumatic cylinder to direct these to a separate collection point. Empty containers can pass both the sensors and continue to the end of the line where they are collected in a final bin.
