Pfizer-BioNtech COVID-19 vaccine approved for public use in UK

The UK has become the first country to approve the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine for public use.
It will start to be administered to high priority groups within days.
It is a major breakthrough in the effort to tackle a disease that has killed nearly 1.5 million people around the world.
