Kutumba "Gurju Paltan"

Gurjuko Paltan is the Prithivi Narayan Shah led Gurkha battalion during his Nepal unification. Though majorly inactive in battles at present, the battalion still portrays an important role during the major festivals of Kathmandu. "Gurju Paltan" is inspired by the beat and the melodies of the battalion marching along during the festivities.

We would like to thank the real Gurju Paltan present for our album release.
