I've always adored this tune, especially since Philippe said that he wrote this tune expressly for Pino to play on.
Transcribing Pino is a masterclass in taste and time; I tried to recall as many of his licks and lines for this tune, from memory. I doesn't matter how close you get, no-one comes remotely close to that special something that he brings to a tune that even the most acomplished, schooled musicians can't quite achieve or explain.
