Richard Wigley is the General Manager of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra. He's in charge of making the orchestra function; making sure the finances are ok, the planning is done and the right artists are booked. Much of his time is spent on the road travelling around Europe. His long term goal is for people to talk about the BBC Philharmonic in the same breath as other great orchestras and says the thrill of his job is turning dreams into reality.
