Ravi Kant, 26, had just started his career as an R&D Engineer with Tata Steel after graduating from IIT Kharagpur in July 2011. But life took an unfortunate turn when he met with an accident in October 2011. Ravi ended up with a left above-knee amputation and a fractured right hand.

Ravi then came to know about the clinically proven C-leg technology that has benefitted over 40,000 prosthetic users across the world. He was convinced that only a C-leg can help him go back to an active life. During his prosthetic fitment, Ottobock's certified C-leg experts took him through a carefully designed fitment and training process. In a short span of time, Ravi adapted to the use of this sophisticated technology. He is now walking without a support, negotiating uneven terrain, climbing up and down slopes and steps. Ravi's own motivation and enthusiasm and great support from his family and employer- The Tata Group- has played a major role in his initial rehabilitation.
