Linkedin vlogger | Why it DOESN'T work anymore!

This is why I no longer recommend daily LinkedIn video content to my clients. 🚫
I remember about two years ago when I started using #LinkedIn "properly".

There was so much great video content that I wanted to be part of it!

My plan was simple: to create a daily vlog outlining my thoughts and processes for growing verbalize.science and Andrew Stapleton Digital Strategy Agency.

I was always driven by the metrics...not "likes" and "views" but engagement, direct messages and increase in connections and followers.

Everything was tracking up until about 4 months ago....

THEN

Then video posts were no longer being sent out to all of your connections and the views went from over 2,000 to 300 (on a good day).

The metrics I wanted to improve dropped and text posts became my highest viewed content.

Every bit of video content I saw was from someone in an engagement pod (they are really easy to pick).

So, do I want to join a pod...no, it's not for me.

So, you can't control what you can't control but what I can do is adjust and adapt so I can reach my goals given the data.
