A day on the Chasewater Railway | 26.5.25

Made my first visit to the Chacewater Railway recently and I really enjoyed my time there. On the day of running was an 0-6-0 Hunslet Austerity ST tank engine in National Coal Board (NBC) livery which looked very smart if I do say so myself. In this video we get a decent range of views of this dinky locomotive performing manoeuvres around the train.

We start off at Brownhills West station, with all sorts of rolling stock stables on shed, and then make our way to Chasetown (Church Street) station, via Norton Lakeside Halt and Chasewater Heaths Station, all with some stunning views of the countryside along the way. At the end of the journey, we get a good glimpse of the locomotive looping round ready for the return journey.

Then to finish, we take a look inside the railway's museum, with a nice range of heritage traction and railway memorabilia to be seen inside.
