TAIWAN'S LARGEST LAKE! SUN MOON LAKE | TRIBAL VILLAGE | OUR ROAD TRIP ACROSS TAIWAN PT. 1

In episode 31, we start our unbelievable road trip around the island nation of Taiwan! Our first stop is the quiet and picturesque town of Ita Thao, where the Thao people live and thrive on Sun Moon Lake. We take an astonishing cable car ride up the mountain faces, and deep into the Taiwanese forest. Afterward, we embark on an afternoon boat-ride around Sun Moon Lake, checking out the orange sunset flawlessly reflecting across the water. We then take a breathtaking hike up to the Ci En Pagoda, built in the 70's, towering over the once-in-a-lifetime views of the aqua-blue lake. This is the first of our two-part series documenting our perfect road-trip through the heart of Taiwan, and down the eastern coast.
