0:50 - Be resourceful
One of the most important skill you need to have is, learn how to be resourceful, aka how to find information. Instead of relying on others, you can just Google and find your info. Once you know how to do that, you will gain access to infinite knowledge.

3:39 - Explore more
One of my biggest regrets is that I didn’t explore more. I only went to college just for the sake of getting a certificate. NUS has alot of sidequests that you can do. You can join halls which has alot of activities where you can make friends and memories. NUS also has a lot of programmes like student exchange programs, attachments where you can gain experience and knowledge. While you are in NUS, do join clubs and societies because life in NUS is not just about studying.

6:13 - Make friends
Everyone is in NUS to study, so go make some friends while in NUS. Someone once said that “you are the average of the 5 people closest to you”. If you have friends who are ambitious and successful, chances are you will be that too.

Once you leave college, it becomes super hard to make friends. Because in the workplace, most of the them are just your colleagues and they are busy trying to complete deadlines. There will also be lots of office politics. So try to make friends while you are in college.

If you find it hard to make friends, join the hall or a club, you will have common interests and it’s easier to make friends that way.

College is a very unique time where you have lots of spare time and zero responsibilities, unlike the adult world where you have to work and spend time with family.

Use your time in the college to work on your personal side projects. Even if you fail, there will be 0 repercussions, and you get to learn from it.

9:29 - Don’t get stressed about the future
We always choose the course we want because we want to be in a certain industry. But we can’t connect the dots forward. So instead of worrying about what to do in the future, you can just continue along the path until you don’t like it, then just change your path.
