ESPN Feb 24, 1995 Wayne Boudreaux Vs Homer Gibbins pt 1

Homer beat Tood Foster on ESPN and gained a little recognition but the politics of the business of boxing gave Foster the opportunity to fight the legend Hector "Macho" Camacho before Homer got the chance. Homer signed to fight rugged and tough veteran Wayne Boudreaux. When Homer last saw Wayne they were fighting around the same circuit in the south region of our country. Homer was training for the fight in NY when he had fell victim to the flu that had him down for two of the six weeks he was training. Stan Hoffman the manager was going to pull Homer from the fight but Homer went to Gleason's and sparred with Arturo Gatti. Homer handled Gatti easily so they decided to let the fight go on as scheduled. Homer said he was expecting Wayne to come straight at him because that's what he had remembered about Wayne. But Boudreaux knew the power that Homer had and decided to be very exasive for the whole fight.
