Breakfast Cruise Amsterdam 🇳🇱

■ AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: The city of Amsterdam looks awesome from your hotel room window and the streets level. But what about from the vantage point of the countless canals that pierce through every neighborhood of the city? Not content having lived on a couple of pricey houseboats and enjoyed breakfast on deck, I thought I'd one up said experience by renting a luxurious private boat, and tour the canals of Amsterdam with a bottle of champagne and a breakfast consisting of strawberries, Rico Ferrer chocolate and a mystery dutch snack I can't pronounce.

■ There are many canal boat tours advertised around Amsterdam, but when I asked my hotel for the one they'd recommend for the ultimate in luxury and service, they came back with Ambolux. It's a family run company which has been going for 5 years. The manager at my hotel told me a lot of the boat tour operators approach the hotel asking to cooperate.

Having thus tried several different ones herself, so she could in good conscience recommend one to her hotel guests, she concluded that Ambolux was the best.
