In this transition from football to fatherhood I'm learning every day that a lot of my scheduling habits and tendencies from football seem to hurt me more than help me as a father. For example, getting up at 4:30 in the morning to get up, get my work done, and workout. This was a bad decision because it didn't allow me to be on my A-game for my wife and kids. I was always tired and grumpy in the middle of the day and my family will be at the receiving end of my grumpiness lol. So, I took a step back, made some adjustments, and now I have a morning routine that works well for me and my family.
