What is Velocity? Easy concept of velocity - Physics

Modern concept of velocity and speed is explained in this animated hd video. It is very easy concept to learn in this video.
I will also teach you in this video about:

1) Physics - What is Velocity?

2) What is Velocity | Hindi |

3) Hindi: Speed & Velocity

4) What is Velocity?

5) What is speed and velocity in physics?

6) What is Velocity? Motion| Part 4| Hindi

7) What is Velocity ??? ( Hindi explanation )

Speed is defined as the rate of change of distance per unit time. Speed is equal to distance divided by time. The S.I unit of speed is m/s. Speed is scalar quantity. Speed only gives the rate change of distance per unit time. For example, 30m/s is a speed.
Velocity is defined as the rate change of displacement per unit time. Speed in a specific direction is also known as velocity. Velocity is equal to displacement divided by time. The S.I unit of velocity is also m/s. Velocity is a vector quantity. Velocity gives the rate change of displacement in a specific direction. For example, 30 m/s towards south is velocity.
As we know that distance is a space of location between two points. Distance is also defined as the actual path between two points. Distance is a scalar quantity. The S.I unit of distance is meter. Speed is always defined in terms of distance. For example, 20 m is distance.
While displacement is defined as the shortest length between two points. Displacement is also defined as the shortest path between two points. The S.I unit of displacement is also meter. Displacement is a vector quantity. While we define velocity in terms of Displacement. For example, 20 m towards right is displacement.
There is a difference between speed and velocity. Speed is a scalar quantity while displacement is a vector quantity. Speed in a specific direction is known as velocity. Speed only gives the rate change of distance while velocity gives the rate change of displacement.
There is also a big difference between average speed and average velocity.
For example, a body moves in a circular path has average speed. Because the total path of the body is equal to the circumference of a circle. But the average velocity of the body is zero, because the total displacement of the body is zero. Hence average velocity is zero. Therefore, average speed may be zero, but average velocity may not be zero.
