(January 2020) We went over the weekend to Alsace and spent 2 wonderful days in Riquewihr. Beside the christmas market we visited the city and the surroundings. Also Ribeauvillé, 5 km away from Riquewihr, is very recommendable.

We stayed overnight at the Best Western Hôtel le Schoenenbourg, Riquewihr. We had a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. Room No. 234. This room category was renovated in 2018.

The 3-star hotel is located at the foot of the ramparts of the medieval town of Riquewihr, a short walk from the vines and the vintage wine which gave it its name. And it’s 5 km from Ribeauvillé, 15 km from Colmar, 45 km from Mulhouse and 60 km from Strasbourg away.
